I had never been to Mammoth Lakes, CA, when I was put on their tourism account. Hadn’t even heard of it. To say I was blown away by its natural beauty my first time there is an understatement. It was unlike any place I’d ever seen. It was unreal. Which led to an idea: there’s a lot of unreal in our AI/VR/metaverse world. But Mammoth Lakes was unreal in a totally different way. It was The Real Unreal.
